Rob is originally from Huyton, just outside Liverpool. He gave his life to Jesus at the age of 13 and began serving in the local church when he was 17. He married Margaret, also from Liverpool, and they have 4 grown children. They also have 5 grandchildren.

 

Rob and Margaret have served in different churches, joining Liverpool Elim in 1982 where Rob was an elder. Rob has held various leadership roles in Elim churches ever since and was ordained in 2008 as Pastor of Widnes Church. Rob was Pastor for four years in Driffield, East Yorkshire and then moved to Acorn Community Church in October 2024. They have pioneered youth and children’s work in Liverpool and Widnes and were leaders of the North West Youth Camp. 

 

Rob worked as a management accountant for 15 years before training as a nurse and becoming a Specialist Nurse in Palliative Care, so he brings a wealth of practical experience and management skills.

 

His vision is to see Acorn grow spiritually and numerically. To empower people in their God given gifts and to release them to serve God as he wills.
